Whether you need a visa depends on your nationality, the purpose of your trip and how long you plan to stay.
Important
Nationals of many countries — including CARICOM/OECS states, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and its territories, the European Union and numerous Commonwealth and OAS members — can enter Saint Kitts and Nevis visa-free for short stays. Nationals of other countries must obtain a visitor visa before arrival.
Purpose matters as much as nationality: a visa-free or visitor visa entry does not allow work, study or self-employment. Anyone intending to work, study, live long-term, or acquire citizenship must use the relevant permit or programme, not a visitor entry.
