Requirements

  • Enough money to live on (NZD $1,000/month, or NZD $400/month with accommodation paid) or an acceptable sponsor
  • Be in good health - a chest X-ray and/or medical examination may be requested
  • Be of good character
  • Have a genuine intention to visit and to leave at the end of your stay

  • Study for up to 3 months
  • Attend business meetings (but not take up employment)

How to apply

  • Create a RealMe account and apply online through Immigration Online
  • Upload supporting documents, a photograph and pay the application charge
  • From 24 September 2026 most new visitor visa applications move to INZ's enhanced Immigration Online system
