Requirements

  • Official invitation/request letter from the inviting organisation stating activity, duration and type of employment
  • Passport valid for at least 180 days
  • Work permit issued by the labour authorities
  • Address statement from local authorities
  • Biometric registration for first-time applicants

How to apply

  • Employer obtains the work permit from the labour authorities before travel
  • Foreign national enters Mongolia on the employment visa
  • Register within the required period and apply for the residence permit at the Immigration Agency within 21 days of arrival
