The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is an online arrival declaration administered by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. It became a requirement for foreign travellers, and must be completed before arrival — generally within three days before entry.

The MDAC is separate from any visa: even visa-free visitors and eVISA holders must complete it. It is free of charge and submitted through the official Immigration Department online system. Certain categories of traveller may be exempt, so check the current rules on the official MDAC portal before you travel.
