The e-Visa is processed after the form and payment are completed, with the electronic authorisation returned by email; the portal indicates a turnaround of up to around 72 hours, though this should be confirmed as it can change.

Long-stay routes take longer and depend on the underlying permit. After arriving on a transformable visa, applicants must lodge their residence/long-stay file within a limited window (commonly cited as about 30 days) and then await the immigration service's or EDBM's decision.
