Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Common requirements across Guyana visa categories include a passport valid for at least six months (with at least two blank pages) and a passport-style photograph that meets the digital photo guidelines — a square image, taken against a white background.

Category-specific documents apply: a school acceptance letter for a Student Visa; employer sponsorship and business registration for an Employment Visa; and, for visas on arrival, a Ministry of Home Affairs approval letter plus an invitation from a host or sponsor and proof of funds. Online applications accept uploads in PDF, JPEG, JPG and PNG only, and any non-English document must include a certified English translation.
