Who it is for

  • Nationals of Category B or C countries travelling to Guatemala for tourism or a short visit.
  • Travellers not undertaking paid activity in Guatemala.

Requirements

  • Completed IGM visa application form and recent passport-sized photographs.
  • Valid passport with a complete legalised copy (or an apostilled certified copy of the full passport).
  • Passport with at least six months' validity for stamping.
  • Category C applicants must additionally evidence economic capacity and other requirements set by the IGM.

How to apply

  • Apply at the Guatemalan consular mission covering your place of residence, or the nearest one.
  • For Category C nationalities, the file is referred to the IGM for authorisation before issuance.
  • Collect the visa stamped in your passport once approved.
