Requirements
- By marriage or union of fact: RENAP certification of the marriage or union of fact showing at least one year since it was registered.
- By marriage or union of fact: RENAP birth certificate of the Guatemalan spouse.
- By other family tie (e.g. parent, child, sibling within the degrees set by law): RENAP birth certifications documentarily proving the relationship with the Guatemalan.
- No Guatemalan guarantor is required for family-tie residence routes.
- Documents issued abroad must be legalised or apostilled, and translated into Spanish where required.
