Who it is for

  • Foreign nationals visiting for business meetings, consultation or training with a Guatemalan company.
  • Company representatives whose expenses are supported by the sending or host company.

Requirements

  • Recent photograph, original passport and a legalised passport copy.
  • Letter from the sending company describing the business activity and who covers costs.
  • Letter from the Guatemalan company stating the purpose (consultation or training).
  • Authenticated legal documentation of the Guatemalan company and its legal representative.
  • Authenticated business/trade licence and company registration documents.

How to apply

  • Apply at the nearest Guatemalan embassy/consulate; the visa is stamped by the Guatemalan consul.
  • Apply for an extension (prórroga) through the IGM if you need to stay longer.
