How to Apply for a Grenada Visa or Permit
An overview of how visa, permit, residence and citizenship applications are made in Grenada and which authority handles each.
Important
The route you use depends on why you are coming to Grenada. Short-stay visitors either travel visa-free or obtain a visitor visa from a Grenadian High Commission, embassy or consulate; in all cases every traveller must complete the online Embarkation/Disembarkation (E/D) Card before travelling.
Work permits are applied for by the employer to the Ministry of Labour and must be approved before the worker arrives. Study permits, family/dependant residence and permanent residence are handled by the Immigration and Passport Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force. Citizenship by investment is a separate process run through Authorised Local Agents and the Citizenship by Investment Committee.
