Requirements
- You need a transit visa if you are on indirect transit through Ghana — that is, your luggage is not checked directly to your final destination and you must collect it and complete check-in and departure formalities
- Passengers on direct airside transit (not passing through immigration and with luggage checked through) are exempt from obtaining a transit visa

- Your travel itinerary
- Proof of a visa for your country of destination (where applicable)
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- A completed disembarkation card
How to apply
The transit visa is issued in Ghana. Present your travel itinerary, proof of an onward visa where applicable, two recent passport photographs and a completed disembarkation card, and pay the fee of US$65 or its cedi equivalent at the rate set by the Ghana Immigration Service.
