Requirements

  • A passport valid for at least six months
  • Passport photographs taken no more than three months before you submit the application
  • A copy of a return ticket or a printed travel itinerary
  • A valid international certificate of vaccination for Yellow Fever
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay
  • A letter from your organisation in your home country stating, among other things, the reasons for the visit
  • A supporting or invitation letter from your business associates in Ghana

Documents you may need

In addition to the standard visitor documents, the Ghana Immigration Service specifies two business-specific letters: one from the applicant's own organisation in the country where the mission is situated, setting out the reasons for the visit, and a supporting or invitation letter from the applicant's business associates in Ghana.

How to apply

Apply in advance at a Ghanaian diplomatic mission (embassy or high commission) or through the official GIS eVisa portal. Submit the completed application with your passport, photographs, the standard visitor documents, the two business letters and the applicable fee.
