Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

One clearly published official fee is the Special Entry Permit (PEI), which costs US$100.00 through the DGME's online portal. Consular visa fees are reported as US$30 for a single entry and US$60 for multiple entries, but these should be confirmed with the issuing consulate.

Residence and naturalisation fees are set out in the individual DGME forms and vary by category. Figures circulating for naturalisation (around US$150 for Central American nationalisation and US$700 for other naturalisation) come from press and legal summaries and should be verified against an official schedule before relying on them.
