Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Criminal background certificate from country of origin (apostilled/legalised)
  • Document proving the generating activity (service/consulting contract, business registration, or letter of sponsorship)
  • For autonomous workers: sworn declaration with photographic evidence of the activity, property registration or rental agreement
  • Proof of lawful means of support

How to apply

  • Apply online on the e-VISAS platform (serviciosdigitales.cancilleria.gob.ec)
  • Upload documents and pay within the payment window or the request is auto-deleted
