Ecuador visas

Whether you need a visa for Ecuador depends on your nationality and on the purpose and length of your stay. Many nationalities may enter visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days, while longer stays and work, study, family reunification or residence require a visa. Visas are granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility (Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Movilidad Humana), and most applications are made online through the Ministry's e-VISAS platform.
