Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Colour photograph (5x5 cm, white background)
  • Criminal background certificate (apostilled/legalised, 180-day validity)
  • Evidence of the qualifying investment (term deposit certificate of 730+ days, registered property deed, or registered company shares)
  • Proof of lawful means of support

How to apply

  • Apply online on the e-VISAS platform (serviciosdigitales.cancilleria.gob.ec)
  • May be issued through an Ecuadorian consulate/embassy abroad or a Zonal Directorate in Ecuador
