How to apply for a Cameroon visa
The standard steps to apply for a Cameroon e-visa through the official government portal.
Important
Almost all Cameroon visas are now applied for online through the official e-visa portal at evisacam.cm. The Cameroon High Commissions, embassies and the DGSN direct applicants to this single platform, and warn that applications submitted through unofficial third-party websites are not recognised.
In outline, you create an account on the portal, complete the application form, select the visa type and purpose of travel, upload your supporting documents, pay the fee online, and wait for the decision. Once approved, the e-visa is issued electronically and finalised on arrival by the border police.

- Register for an account on the official portal (evisacam.cm)
- Complete the application form and choose the visa type and purpose
- Upload a passport bio-data page, photo and supporting documents
- Pay the visa fee online using an accepted payment method
- Receive the electronic authorisation and present it, with your passport, on arrival
