Your visa requirement depends on your nationality, your passport type and the reason for your trip. Nationals of a limited set of neighbouring African states can enter for short non-commercial visits without a visa, holders of diplomatic and service passports from certain countries may obtain a visa on arrival, and most other travellers must obtain an e-visa online before departure.
The e-visa system covers transit, short-stay and long-stay purposes. Choosing the correct category (tourism, business, study, work or family) matters, because it determines the documents you must provide and what you may do once in Cameroon.
