Whether you need a visa for Cambodia depends on your nationality, the purpose of your visit and how long you intend to stay. Nationals of some countries may enter visa-free for short stays, while most other travellers need a Tourist (Type T) or Ordinary (Type E) visa.

The purpose of the visit determines the category: tourism uses Type T, while work, business, study, retirement and family purposes use the Ordinary (Type E) visa with the matching extension of stay. Investors may use the CM2H programme.

Because eligibility and visa-free lists change, travellers should confirm their specific situation with the official e-Visa portal or the General Department of Immigration before booking.
