Who it is for

  • Non-citizens with at least five years' continuous lawful residence
  • Investors, who may apply with less tenure
  • Applicants of good character with sufficient means and a contribution to the nation

Requirements

  • Completed Form 21 and covering letter
  • Two certified copies of a valid passport
  • Two recent colour passport photographs
  • Certified marriage certificate, if applicable
  • Employees: CV, certified educational certificates, employer reference and job offer letter
  • Investors: business incorporation documents, financial statements, tax returns, employee wage sheets and property documentation
  • Immigrants/dependants/missionaries: support letter, bank statements and proof of financial means

How to apply

  • Visit any Immigration and Citizenship office and complete Form 21
  • Submit the application, documents and fee to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship
  • Receive the decision by post and collect the Permanent Residence certificate
