Who it is for

Foreign visitors travelling for tourism who hold a nationality that is not exempt (Grupo II and Grupo III).

Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Completed sworn visa application/declaration form
  • Recent 4x4 cm colour photograph (red background)
  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate if travelling to/from endemic areas
  • Return or onward ticket / itinerary
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel reservation) or an invitation letter
  • Proof of economic solvency (e.g. bank statements or credit card)
  • Police/criminal record certificate for applicants over 16 (all visa types)

  • Enter Bolivia for tourism and leisure
  • Extend your permitted stay at DIGEMIG offices inside Bolivia within the calendar-year limit
  • Not permitted to work or study on this visa

How to apply

  • Apply at the nearest Bolivian consulate, or online via the DIGEMIG Go platform
  • Grupo III nationals require prior authorisation from DIGEMIG before the visa is issued
