Requirements
- Letter of request to the Director of Immigration
- Completed First Schedule Form 1 (notarised) with US$10 Bahamian postage stamp
- Sponsor's passport biographical page copy
- Marriage certificate and/or child's birth certificate showing the relationship
- Medical certificate dated within 30 days and police certificate (applicants 14+)
- Two passport photographs and passport biographical page copy
- Financial reference showing means of support
- School enrolment letter and custody/guardianship documents for children where applicable
How to apply
- Each dependant lodges a separate Form 1 with the Department of Immigration
- Pay the US$200 non-refundable processing fee per applicant
- Renew annually; first-instance applicants should not be in the country during processing
