Bahamas Immigration Fees
The processing fees and stamp charges published by the Department of Immigration, and where fee figures are not yet published.
Important
Most Department of Immigration permit applications - work permits, the Permit to Reside, Resident Spouse and Resident Belonger permits, the Home Owner Resident Permit and permanent residence - carry a non-refundable processing fee of US$200, payable by credit or debit card, postal money order or bank certified cheque. Application forms usually require a US$10 Bahamian postage stamp.
Work permit charges beyond the processing fee are set on a graduated fee scale based on the category of employment; those scale amounts are not published on the pages reviewed. The Short Term Work Permit charges a US$200 processing fee for 1-30 day permits, while 31-90 day permits are lodged on a notarised Form 1 bearing the US$10 postage stamp.
The BEATS remote-work programme charges its own permit and application fees, and visitor visa fees are set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; both should be confirmed against the current official sources before relying on any figure.
