Tourism-visa applicants from eligible countries generally apply online through the SME e-visa portal, while work, study, investment, family and residence routes are lodged at an Angolan diplomatic or consular mission or through the Serviço de Migração e Estrangeiros (SME).
The SME is the central body of the Ministry of the Interior responsible for the entry, transit, stay and exit of foreign nationals.
