Requirements
- Either an assistance / service-provision contract (no APPT required), or
- An employment contract with a Provisional Authorisation for Temporary Work (APPT) and repatriation commitment
- Passport valid for at least six months plus a photocopy
- Application form in duplicate, two photographs, and travel insurance
How to apply
- Confirm with your Algerian employer or client which basis applies (service/assistance contract, or employment contract with APTT).
- Obtain the work permit, the employer's letter, and - for employment-contract assignments - the Provisional Temporary Work Authorisation (APTT) and repatriation commitment.
- Complete the visa application form and submit it, with the general documents, to the Algerian embassy or consulate of your usual place of residence.
Frequently asked questions
No. If your assignment is under a contract of assistance or provision of services, the temporary work visa is not subject to obtaining an APTT first. If it is under an employment contract, you must provide the APTT together with a repatriation commitment.
