How to apply
- Obtain an appointment or employment with a dicastery of the Roman Curia, the Governorate of Vatican City State, or another Holy See institution. The role is the gateway; you cannot apply for Vatican status independently of it.
- Your employing office arranges the grant of citizenship, or the authorisation to reside, on your behalf through the Governorate of Vatican City State.
- Arrange your Italian immigration status separately if you will reside in or commute through Italy.
