Important
Vanuatu visa fees are set by visa type and, for some categories, by the applicant's age and the length of the visa. Reported charges include a transit visa of 1,855 VUV, a tourist visa of 5,150 VUV, and a visitor (eVisa) charge of 7,420 VUV, with business visas around 20,000–35,000 VUV.
Longer-stay routes cost more: student and residence visas are charged at 2,880 VUV for applicants under 18, with adult residence visas reported to range from 57,600 VUV for one year up to 511,200 VUV for ten years. Work involves a separate Department of Labour work permit fee, reported at around 200,000 VUV, and the Business Investor visa charge is reported at 206,000 VUV.
