A visa procedure usually takes 15 days, and in exceptional, justified cases up to 30 days.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in most cases a visa procedure takes 15 days from the date of application, and in exceptional cases for justified reasons the procedure may take up to 30 days.

Residence, single-permit and permanent-residence decisions are handled by the Ministry of Interior; you should apply well before your current status expires. Permanent residence can be applied for at the earliest 60 days before the three-year continuous-residence condition is met.
