Requirements
- Completed Application for Permit Extension form (IM23) stamped by the Family Court
- Passport biodata copy and marriage certificate
- Copy of the Maldivian spouse's ID card
- Medical health screening and health insurance (first-time applicants only)
- Standard passport-size photograph
How to apply
- If marrying in the Maldives, submit a Sponsorship Declaration through IMUGA before arrival
- Submit the Marriage Visa application through IMUGA with the required documents
- Attend the SMS-notified appointment to submit the passport
- Apply for extensions at least 3 months before expiry
