Who it is for
- Foreign nationals undertaking business or work approved by a government authority in the Maldives
Requirements
- Valid passport with at least 6 months validity
- Recent photograph (taken within 3 months)
- Clear colour copy of the passport data page
- Must not hold a visa type specified under Article 9 of Law No. 1/2007
- Must not fall under the entry-prohibition categories in Article 8 of Law No. 1/2007

How to apply
- Submit the application through the Business Portal at business.egov.mv
- Ministry of Economic Development conducts the initial review
- Maldives Immigration verifies and processes the application
- Track status using the General Service Request (GSR) number issued on submission
