Who it is for

  • Travellers visiting Liberia for tourism, business or transit
  • Nationals of countries that do NOT host a Liberian embassy (embassy-country nationals must apply at the mission instead)

Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months from your entry date
  • Scan of the passport bio page (max 2 MB: PDF, BMP, JPG, JPEG or PNG)
  • Recent colour passport photo on a neutral background (max 2 MB)
  • Flight ticket scan (optional, max 2 MB)
  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate for entry

What you can do

  • Enter Liberia once within the 3-month approval window
  • Stay for the period granted at the border (30 or 90 days)
  • Frequent travellers can instead apply for a Re-entry Permit Card for multiple visits

How to apply

  • Create an account on visaonarrival.lis.gov.lr with your name and email
  • Prepare and upload the required documents
  • Complete the online application form with personal and travel details
  • Pay the visa fee online and receive a payment confirmation
  • Receive the approval with a PDF confirmation / QR code
  • Collect the visa sticker at the airport counter, where biometric data is captured
