The Lesotho e-Visa System and Ports of Entry
How Lesotho's e-Visa system works, its current suspension, and where approved travellers enter the country.
Important
The Lesotho e-Visa platform is the official channel for online visa applications, managed by the Immigration Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Ministry states this is the only official site for online visa applications and warns that other websites offering Lesotho visas should be treated as fraudulent.
The e-Visa system is currently suspended. During the suspension, applicants must email their completed forms and supporting documents to VISA-Applications.Immigration@gov.ls ahead of travel, or apply in person at the Department of Immigration. Approved applicants are, per the Lesotho Embassy (USA), issued an entry letter (described as a 72-hour visa-on-arrival letter) for entry through the main ports such as Maseru Bridge and Moshoeshoe I International Airport.
Key points
