How long a Lesotho visa or permit application can take, based on official guidance.

Processing times depend on the route and how the application is submitted. The Lesotho Embassy (USA) indicates that visitor-visa applications are processed within a maximum of about ten working days, after which approved applicants are issued an entry letter allowing arrival at the main ports of entry.
While the e-Visa portal is suspended, applicants are advised to email their application and documents to the Immigration Department well before travel. Permit applications (work, study, family, business and settlement) are handled by the Department of Immigration and can take longer; confirm current timelines directly with the Department.
