Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least six months
  • Completed visa application form with two photographs
  • Evidence of onward travel to the destination country (ticket and, where required, an entry visa for that country)
  • No criminal convictions

How to apply

  • Apply through an Iraqi embassy or consulate under Ministry of Foreign Affairs procedures
  • Submit the application form, passport, photographs and evidence of onward travel
  • The transit visa permits a stay of up to seven days; the non-stop transit variant does not permit any stop in Iraqi territory
