Requirements
- Passport valid for at least six months
- Completed visa application form with two photographs
- Proof of sufficient financial means to cover the cost of the stay (ordinary passport holders)
- No criminal convictions
- A full residential address in Iraq
- Report your arrival to the Directorate of Residence within 10 days of entering Iraq
How to apply
- Apply either at an Iraqi embassy or consulate, or online through the official e-Visa portal at evisa.iq
- Submit the application form, passport and photographs and pay the fee
- For an e-Visa, receive it by email, print it and present it at border control
- After arrival, report to the Directorate of Residence within 10 days

Frequently asked questions
The visit/tourism visa allows a maximum stay of one month, and the visa itself is valid for three months from the date it is granted. You must report your arrival to the Directorate of Residence within 10 days of entering the country.
