The Iraq MOFA visa page does not publish a standalone named 'business visa'. The figures shown (single entry, 3-month validity, up to 3-month stay, USD 40) are for the Normal visa, which is used for business visits; frequent business travellers use the Multi-Visa (USD 100, 3/6/12-month validity). Confirm the correct category for your visit with the Iraqi embassy or consulate.

Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least six months
  • Completed visa application form with two photographs
  • Proof of sufficient financial means to cover the cost of the stay
  • No criminal convictions
  • A full residential address in Iraq
  • Report your arrival to the Directorate of Residence within 10 days of entering Iraq

How to apply

  • Apply through an Iraqi embassy or consulate under Ministry of Foreign Affairs procedures
  • Submit the application form, passport, photographs and supporting documents for the purpose of travel, and pay the fee
  • Frequent business travellers who need repeated entries may instead apply for the Multi-Visa
  • After arrival, report to the Directorate of Residence within 10 days
