Requirements
- Hold a passport from an eligible nationality (the Directorate General of Immigration lists the eligible countries on the e-Visa portal).
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival in Indonesia.
- A valid Mastercard, Visa or JCB credit card to pay the fee; it need not be in your own name but must have 3D Secure enabled and be open to international transactions.
- A valid email address to create and verify your e-Visa account.
How to apply
- Create an account on evisa.imigrasi.go.id via Apply then Register.
- Activate the account using the verification email (confirm within one hour).
- Log in, choose Apply, and enter your visa type, arrival information and residence details in Indonesia.
- Upload your passport biodata page and photograph.
- Pay the IDR 500,000 fee by credit card (complete payment within the time allowed).
- Download the approved e-Visa from your account and carry it for travel.

- A passport-sized photograph (JPG/JPEG/PNG, max 200 KB).
- A valid Mastercard, Visa or JCB credit card.
- A valid email address.
Frequently asked questions
The 30-day stay is not extended by re-applying for the visa itself. To stay longer you apply for a residence permit extension at an Immigration Office inside Indonesia, subject to the official conditions.
