Indonesia visas

Whether you need a visa for Indonesia depends on your nationality and the purpose and length of your stay, from visa-free entry for some travellers to visas that lead to a limited or permanent stay permit. Indonesia uses an alphanumeric visa index system (for example A1, B1, C1, E23, E28, E33) administered through the official e-visa portal. Visas and immigration are governed by the Directorate General of Immigration (Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi), which publishes rules and accepts applications at imigrasi.go.id and evisa.imigrasi.go.id.
