Requirements
- Be a citizen of a nationality on Indonesia's visa-free list — this applies to the ASEAN member states and is confirmed against the official list.
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival in Indonesia.
- Enter Indonesia through one of the designated immigration checkpoints.
- Travel for a short tourism stay only, within the official conditions.
How to apply
There is no online application for visa-free entry. If your nationality qualifies, you present your passport at immigration on arrival and are granted the visa-free stay, subject to the officer's assessment and the official conditions. If you are not eligible, the e-Visa (Visitor Visa) or e-VoA are the online alternatives.

Frequently asked questions
No. The 30-day visa-free stay cannot be extended or converted into another stay permit. If you need to stay longer, you would need a different visa such as the e-Visa or e-VoA.
