Haiti visas

Whether you need a visa for Haiti depends on your nationality and the purpose and length of your stay: most travellers may enter visa-free for short tourist visits, while a defined list of nationalities must obtain a visa in advance, and anyone staying beyond a short visit or intending to work needs a residence and/or work permit. Immigration control, residence permits and travel documents are administered by the Direction de l'Immigration et de l'Émigration (DIE) within the Ministère de l'Intérieur et des Collectivités Territoriales (MICT), while entry visas are issued through Haiti's embassies and consulates on behalf of the Ministère des Affaires Étrangères. All arriving and departing travellers must also register through the government's iKat digital entry/exit form.
