How to Apply for a Gabon Visa

The two main ways to obtain a Gabon visa: the online e-Visa for air arrivals via Libreville, and consular visas from Gabonese embassies.

There are two principal routes to a Gabon visa. Travellers arriving by air at Léon Mba International Airport in Libreville can apply online for the e-Visa through the DGDI portal at evisa.dgdi.ga, creating an account, completing the form and uploading a passport page and photo.

Travellers who cannot use the e-Visa, or who need a long-stay, work, study or family visa, apply at a Gabonese embassy or consulate. Applications are generally made in person and submitted several days before travel. Long-stay arrivals must then regularise their residence with the DGDI.
