Most Gabon visa applications require a passport valid for at least six months, a completed application form, passport photographs, proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host invitation), a return ticket and a yellow fever vaccination certificate.

Business applicants additionally need a stamped mission order from the sending company and an invitation letter from the hosting company. Work, study and family routes require route-specific documents such as an employment authorisation, admission letter or host support evidence.
