Requirements
- You are transiting through Fiji en route to another destination within 72 hours of entry (the Ministry also describes transit as lasting more than three hours)
- You hold an approved visa or permit for your next country of destination
- You hold a confirmed onward ticket to that next destination (and a further outward ticket if you then travel on from there)
- You must apply for and obtain the transit visa before arriving in Fiji

Frequently asked questions
A transit visa is required for non-exempt nationals transiting Fiji to another destination within 72 hours of entry. The Ministry also frames the trigger as a transit lasting more than three hours. In either case you must apply for and obtain the visa before you arrive in Fiji, and you must already hold an approved visa or permit and an onward ticket for your next destination.
