Who it is for

  • Non-nationals with a job offer from a registered Dominican employer
  • CARICOM and non-CARICOM workers (different fees apply)

Requirements

  • Job offer / employment contract from a registered Dominican employer
  • Valid passport (valid at least six months) and passport photograph(s)
  • Statement of financial position from a reputable banker
  • Police record from the Commissioner of Police / home state
  • Medical certificate
  • Letter from a friend/family member/sponsor accepting responsibility while in Dominica
  • Treasury receipt as proof of the application fee

How to apply

  • Employer secures the job offer and justifies hiring a non-national
  • Complete the Work Permit Application Form (Ministry of National Security and Legal Affairs)
  • Pay the application fee at Treasury and attach the receipt
  • Submit to the Labour Division for assessment
