How to apply

There is no online visa application for a visa-exempt nationality. You do not use the evisacam.cm portal.

You present your valid national passport to Cameroonian immigration officers at the port of entry (airport, seaport or land border) and are admitted under the exemption in force for your nationality.

Some Cameroonian missions issue a visa exemption certificate to formalise the exemption before travel. If you are unsure whether one is expected for your nationality, contact the nearest Cameroonian embassy or high commission before you travel.

  • Evidence of the purpose of your visit (for example an invitation, booking or return/onward ticket) if requested at the border
  • Any visa exemption certificate issued by a Cameroonian mission, if one applies to your nationality
