EASE is Cabo Verde's mandatory online pre-registration for travellers arriving by air. It applies whether or not you need a visa, including for visa-exempt nationalities and holders of diplomatic, service and official passports. Registration centralises traveller data and collects the Airport Security Tax (TSA) to speed up border checks.
You provide passport details and travel dates and pay the TSA where it applies, ahead of your flight. Certain travellers, such as very young children and some official or transit passengers, may be exempt from the TSA. Because it replaces the old on-arrival visa process for many nationalities, EASE is the key step most visitors must complete before travelling.
