Requirements

  • Enough funds to pay the visa fee to the border immigration service on arrival

How to apply

  • Present yourself to the border police (police des frontieres) at a land border post, or to immigration on arrival at Ouagadougou airport
  • Hand your passport and supporting documents to the officer
  • Pay the visa fee and receive the entry visa, applied as a stamp or adhesive sticker in your passport
  • To stay longer, apply to the Migration Division (Division de la Migration) to extend a short-stay visa to 3 or 12 months
