Frequently asked questions

  • ECOWAS nationals are exempt but must carry a valid consular identity card. Accredited diplomatic and consular staff hold a residence permit issued by the ministry of foreign affairs, and recognised refugees and asylum seekers holding the required documents are also exempt from the standard residence-permit requirement.
