Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

For an e-Visa, you generally need a passport valid for at least six months from entry, a scan of the passport bio page, a recent photograph, and proof of yellow fever vaccination, which is required at the border.

Category visas and resident cards require additional evidence of purpose – for example proof of employment or a business relationship for work, an enrolment letter for study, or evidence of means of subsistence and a support guarantee for residence. Naturalisation requires a fuller civil-status file including birth and nationality certificates, residence attestation, medical and tax certificates.

Common baseline documents

  • Passport valid 6+ months with blank pages
  • Passport-style photograph
  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate
  • Evidence supporting the purpose of the visa (work, study, business, family)
