Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

How you apply depends on the route. Visitors who need a visa apply online for an Electronic Entry Visa through the Immigration Department's e-Visa system, or are issued a visa on arrival where eligible; visa-exempt nationals apply for entry at the port on arrival.

Work permits, student permits and residence permits are lodged on the prescribed forms with the Immigration Department, and extensions of stay must be made in person (children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). The Nomad Digital Residence is applied for online through its dedicated portal, and citizenship by investment is submitted through an authorised agent to the Citizenship by Investment Unit.
